Piling work has continued all week and they have now installed 36 piles at the shallow end of the pool.
They have started to remove the mosaic blue band of tiles on the side walls; so far they have removed half on the slide side of the pool.
Diggers continue to remove the original sand/soil base that was under the pool surround slabs, whilst another digger lays the new hardcore foundation. The drainage channel around the pool surround has been removed.
Meanwhile in the office we continue to research and locate original design aspects such as pool scum line channels, slab detail and drinks fountain.
