Work has now begun on constructing the new reinforcement grid that will provide the strength for the new floor. They have to build a grid using the reinforcement rods. The rods penetrate the walls and link to the piles to provide a very solid structure. They have constructed the grid over the top left section of the deep end of the pool and will slowly work their way up to the shallow end. The difficult sections will be getting the falls right to retain the diving pit at the deep end and working around the drain outlet.
