Second cement pour completed

Our contractors have been watching the weather reports even more than Keith and me during the summer months. They have been looking for the best opportunity to complete the second cement pour.
However on Wednesday 6th they saw a break in the stormy weather and booked the trucks. The area to be covered on this occasion was the shallow end of the pool. Work began early and after 13 cement lorries the pour was complete. Contractors continued late getting a final finish on the surface.
The third and final pour is provisional booked for Tuesday 12th December (weather permitting); this pour will cover the middle section of the pool floor and the new shallow end wall.
