3rd and final cement pour has been completed

After careful weather watching Dove construction decided to go ahead with the final cement pour on Wednesday 13th December.
This pour covered the mid section of the pool and the shallow end wall. It took all day to complete the pour and all of the next day to get a smooth finish to the surface.
Work is continuing today to remove the blown render on the walls ready to be re-rendered next week. They are also working on ensuring the tops of the existing walls are level. Over the years the pool has twisted which means the old walls are not level, they will build them up using cement to ensure the whole structure is level.
Some of our new slabs arrived on site this week; they will start to lay them next week, working from the cafe around the pool low walls up to the Reception area.
