On Tuesday 19th December the first of many new paving slabs were laid outside the café. By Wednesday they had progressed from outside the café towards the main pool and a section had been laid to the left, towards the side entrance of the main pool surround. They have yet to tackle the curved section of pathway which will join the other two sections together. The curved sections will be laid out like a fan. After Christmas six men will work on the paving, initially laying all the walkways as the pool surround can't be laid until the new scum channels are installed.

Render has been removed from the walls and fresh cement has been placed within some shuttering to ensure that the walls are now level.
