Since the last post, the seemingly endless task of laying slabs around the site has continued. By the end of this week slabs will have been laid along both sides of the pool.

The fountain has had plenty of attention over the past couple of weeks. Years of paint have been stripped from the basins and a screed base has now been laid to ensure it is watertight. The outside of the fountain base has been stripped back and is now being re-rendered.

Poolside drainage channels now extend around the whole poolside with the completion of the shallow end section.
